Zack Baranick currently serves as Director of Training and Operations Support where is responsible for the ongoing management and implementation of Hawthorne’s training and development needs. Part of Hawthorne Residential Partners since 2010, Zack was the recipient of the Rising Star Award given by his superiors that same year. He has been a successful Operation Support Manager, Community Manager, Regional Support Manager, and Regional Manager with HRP and he also holds an ARM certification with the Institute of Real Estate Management. Zack is happily married for over 20 years and is the proud father of his son, Zachary.
Adam's career with Hawthorne began in July 2015 when he transitioned from the student housing industry. Adam spent his first year at Hawthorne in a Regional Support Manager role adding value at each community he visited across the entire portfolio. He was promoted to Regional Manager in April of 2017 overseeing properties in Raleigh, Coastal North Carolina and South Carolina. He lives in Apex, NC where he and his wife, Sarah, have built their first house together. They are parents to two delightful golden retrievers named Jackson & Franklin. In his spare time, Adam is very active in recreational sports and an avid NC State Wolfpack fan!
Megan’s Hawthorne career started in March 2011 as a Creative Specialist. In 2013, she was promoted to Design Project Manager and now serving as the Director of Branding and Design, she plays a key role in the creative process for new construction, major renovations, and the overall visual impact of the Hawthorne brand. Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is the mother of a rescued shepherd/hound mix, named Moxie, who enjoys anything that lands her a biscuit.
Lindsey Knox is Hawthorne Residential Partners’ Senior Trainer and Support Manager. She has been in the apartment industry for around a decade and is an expert on apartment sales and customer service. An energetic trainer and coach, Lindsey has helped countless people excel at the art of leasing apartments. She is often on the road, traveling in her support role to many HRP communities in need of assistance and extends a helping hand while inspiring employees to grow in their skills. In her spare time, you might find Lindsey in the sunshine somewhere in Chattanooga, TN reading a book, enjoying live music, hiking, spending time with her friends and her cats, Satine and Luna.
Ashley Laster joined the Hawthorne family in October 2010 as Assistant Community Manager and later was promoted to Community Manager in 2011. She has since been awarded the HRP Challenge Award in 2012 and the Live It Award in 2014. She currently serves as Director of Marketing overseeing the Regional Marketing team as well as corporate and property marketing initiatives. In her free time, Ashley enjoys travel and exploring with her camera, her husband Taylor, and two dogs Ryder and Dan.
Kayla has served in various positions within Hawthorne for over six years and currently is Vice President overseeing multiple corporate departments. Kayla lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, Matt, and their furry, four-legged child, Maverick who is also a champion cuddler. She can be found spending quality time running and hiking with Matt and Maverick as well as cooking and enjoying the local food scene of Chapel Hill and Durham.
Ann Collias has been in property management for six years starting her career in student housing. She joined the Hawthorne team in November 2015 as a Leasing Consultant and later was promoted to Assistant Community Manager in 2016. She currently serves as Regional Marketing Specialist overseeing property marketing initiatives in Charlotte, NC , Asheville, NC, and South Carolina. In her free time, Ann loves to travel with friends and family and is always looking for life’s next adventure. She is also a proud dog mom of an adorable boxer, Lyla.
Holly Shrader started her career in property management in 2009. During her time on site she served as a Leasing Consultant, Assistant Manager, and a Community Manager. She joined the Hawthorne family in October of 2016 as a Regional Marketing Specialist overseeing marketing initiatives for properties in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. In her spare time, Holly enjoys watching Tennessee football, and spending time with her husband, Travis, and her daughter, Avery.
Katherine Love began her multifamily career with Hawthorne Residential Partners in 2014 as an onsite leasing consultant at a brand new luxury community in need of lease up. At this time, Katherine used high level sales techniques, strong marketing strategies, and resident retention programs in order to successfully lease and occupy this new construction. Katherine was soon promoted to Regional Marketing Specialist, and currently oversees and implements marketing initiatives at focus communities throughout the Eastern Region of North Carolina, including Raleigh and Wilmington areas.
Reagen Bailey started his multifamily career just over three years ago, and joined the Hawthorne team in October 2017 as a Leasing and LIVE IT! Specialist. Having previously worked for Apple, he began to utilize his knowledge of social media and technology within the property management field. He was later promoted to Digital Marketing Specialist, piloting the newest digital marketing strategies. He currently lives in Chattanooga, TN where he can be found hiking in the area or reading in a local coffee shop.
